# Discord Expained

## Uncategorized:​

* uncategorized channels include information like the Version, IP, port and website

* they are only for information

## Joins And Leaves:

* ​contains only 1 channel: joins-and-leaves

* ​like the name suggests, it notifies about people joining and leaving, but also about discord boosts

## announcements and info:

* ​contains announcement channels: announcements and minor-announcements

* ​announcements is for major changes like updates or events

* ​minor-announcements is for smaller changes like small increases in required playtime and new voting sites

* ​contains information channels: rules, map, roles

* ​rules: has the most important rules

* ​map: has the link to the online map

* ​roles: has all of the ranks with their permissions and requirements

## Text channels:

* ​contains text channels: general, in-game, showcase and the in game voice channel

* ​They exist for general talk about the server

## Off Topic:

* ​contains text channels: off-topic, games, music-and-art, memes-and-gifs, tech, discord-games and the voice channel off topic

* ​the channels exist for talking about things other than the server, like different games, real life stuff and more

* ​contains text channels: tickets, questions and the forum channel suggestions

* ​exists for asking the owner questions, getting help and giving suggestions.
